Hi, Folks,
The New England Poling Season begins this weekend with an 8-mile downriver cruise on the Piscataquog River in New Boston, NH.  This is a Class I to Class II river cruise being hosted by Marshall Moore and is an AMC (Appalacian Mountain Club) event as well.  You can get more info at: http://activities.outdoors.org/search/index.cfm/action/details/id/65040

or by contacting Marshall at:  mmoore175@yahoo.com  or by calling (978) 343-8824.

Check out the the events page for upcoming cruises, clinics and races in New England.  There's something happening almost every weekend between now and the beginning of June.  It's a good time to get started and, if you're new to the sport, get some tips and learn some techniques from those who've been doing it for awhile.  They're all friendly people and willing to help out and pass on information and skills to those interested.

     See you on the River!!!

The 2013 National Canoe Poling Calendar has just come in and is published on our new Events page!!  Check it out!  If you have any additional event for your area, let me know through this blog page and I'll add it to the Events page.  Let me know when the date is, where it's to be held, who's hosting and their contact info and I'll get it listed.  Let's fill the year with poling events.  Anything happening out there in St. Louis, or on the West Coast?  Let me know!
Though the Hayden Canoepole Co. has been designing and producing quality canoepoles since the early 90's, this is the first presence on the web!  I hope you find it informative and entertaining.  I expect that this isn't the final form.  There will be additions to the catalogue and I have some ideas for aditional pages which will develop over time.  Let me know what you think and what you'd like to see here on this site and what you'd like to have available in the catalogue.
